What People Are Saying

“Can’t say enough about how awesome our Glamping experience was! The tents had everything you needed and created an awesome blend of nature, comfort, and convenience. Casey was a wonderful host and was an awesome guide to the property and area. Can’t wait to do it again!.”

“We had such a nice time staying at Liberty Farms. I feel like the

What was very special was the communal aspect of the property- you could eat/grill together, hang out by the fire and have s'mores, go on the chore tour.... it was lovely to meet and interact with the other guests while there. The tents were beautifully appointed and offered a lot of privacy and the bed was very comfortable.....drinking coffee in bed at sunrise was a total plus. Tons of hot water, great lighting and a really good location if you want to explore Hudson, Ghent, Art Omi and the nearby waterfalls.

Casey who runs everything was great, he picked us up upon arrival and showed us around the campsite and was totally available if there was anything we needed. Can't wait to come back very soon :).”

“Bev’s place was all we could have ever wanted! Not only was the space as beautiful as we expected, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was magical. Casey, Debbie, and Sheila were absolutely amazing, thank you! We will definitely be returning in the future.”

- Zykerious | Sept ‘21

“First glamping experience and it was a great one! I would definitely return here, Casey was super accommodating.”

Rob | Aug ‘21

“It was a wonderful experience and truly great to get away from NYC, breathe fresh air and have a nice peaceful weekend! Hudson was a 15 min drive away and has a lovely and charming downtown to get a quick bite and shop, too. The shower was wonderful and en suite bathroom was a huge plus, too! Will definitely be back!”

“Amazing. This was our second visit to Liberty Farms, and I can honestly say that glamping at the farm was equally as charming as it was our first time around. We brought our parents - both in their 60s - and they absolutely loved this unique experience. From hopping on the farm tour to feed the pigs and collectively moo at the cows with Debbie to sitting around the campfire to roast marshmallows and glance up at the stars with Casey, the entire family enjoyed every moment of the stay; leaving the farm to drive home is the only blemish I can think of.

And of course, the tent itself was incredible - a hot shower, a super comfortable bed, and even a fridge (what more do you need?). We’re hoping to make another visit soon, but we promise to hold off on booking our next stay in order to allow other folks join in on the fun.”

Michael | Sept ‘21

“This place is awesome ! Absolutely as described. Casey answered all our questions and provided top level hospitality. Recommend a few spots for us to check out in town and even hosted a s’mores night by the campfire. Great weekend getaway from the city, would highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back next year”

Julio | Sept ‘21

Amazing! It was hard to believe that they were only a few weeks into operating when we stayed here - they had thought of everything! The accommodations were very clean and perfectly appointed. The hot water outside was indulgent. Even in the rain, we were comfortable and relaxed. It will be hard to go back to camping…. Casey was super attentive - made a roaring fire, got us set up with s’mores, and surprised us with a farm fresh breakfast. We had bought meat and veggies from the farm store for dinner the night before and they had everything we needed to cook a great meal. We ate as the sun set over the mountains - spectacular. The farm tour with Deb was out of this world. Baby piglets! Baby chicks!! Big pigs and cows and chickens. We learned a lot and had such a special time. We can imagine that, as the operations improve, the farm tour would be even better with walkways, etc. This was an easy drive from north Jersey. We enjoyed the county fair in the area and only wish we could have stayed longer!

Suzanna | Sept ‘21

The entire experience was easy and fun. Casey is wonderful host. He was always available and willing to go above and beyond. The property is beautiful and the accommodations comfortable. A great first glamping experience.

Sierra | August ‘21

We had an amazing time glamping here! The tents are amazing and the views of the stars & Milky Way. We had everything we needed and wish we could have stayed longer!

Liberty Farms offers a unique farm-glamping experience with beautifully decorated tents for guests equipped with all the necessary amenities. We were first greeted by Casey and Finn, his cute pup, who were there to happily help us settle in and show us the farm. Up the hill from our tent sat a rustic communal stage where grills could be used to cook farm-to-table produce and meats that came straight from the farm. Everything was so delicious and the view from the stage is absolutely breathtaking as you look outwards at rolling hills, blue skies, and puffy cumulus clouds. The farm also offered all the necessary grilling equipment, plates, seasonings, etc. to make the stay more comfortable and if we were hungry for more, the farm had a farm store where their butchered meats and veggies could be bought.

We took advantage of the 'chore tour' where we had the opportunity to experience a glimpse of the day-in-the-life of a farmer at Liberty Farms. The tour was given by Debbie and her cute pup Bella where we helped feed all the animals on the farm and picked fresh eggs, some of which we at the following morning!

We highly recommend Liberty Farms for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!

Amazing!!!! Book it now! Did NOT want to leave! Casey and Fin(faithful dog) were spectacular! Warm and friendly hosts. Casey even helped me get better photos and delivered delicious s’more‘s fixings to a huge fire pit.
Debbie’s “chore tour “
was priceless and educational. We learned so much about organic farming and animal care. A true WOOF-ing Farm experience. We had a great time riding in the back of her pick up truck sitting on Haybale‘s and chasing chickens back into the fence with her beautiful dog Bella. Sheila‘s vision and passion for Liberty Farms was contagious. She even took us on a tour of the storybook wedding venue area- Every brides dream.

Warm and friendly staff made us feel (Email hidden by Airbnb) fy beds, with top rate linens and towels, hot water and luxurious bathroom.

We were the first guess to sign the guestbook and we can’t wait to come back and sign it again. Thanks for everything see you soon!!

Definitely highly recommend this place. The glamping tent was really clean and it's definitely a good compromise between a couple where one person is outdoorsy and the other is not. They even had heating blankets in case it was too cold and the bed was comfortable. The common area was nice with a little shed that contained plates, a fridge, and other kitchen supplies and spices. The grills were outside for use. Definitely recommend getting the local meat and grilling yourself at the common area. Our host even offered to cook for us, but my husband insisted on doing it himself. Our host even gave us a marinade to use, which was really tasty with the chicken breast we bought from them. Also they were good with letting us know what meats were available through text. We had 2 T-bones, 2 chicken breasts, and 2 packages of sausages, which was good to feed us and another couple who were our friends. We texted our host and he immediately took the meat out for us to thaw. Meat was definitely really good quality, considering they came from the farm (organic and grassfed). For the quality of the meat, the price was definitely very reasonable. Would definitely plan to come back after our kid is old enough to be babysat.

Michelle | Oct ‘21

Beautiful experience. We will definitely be back!!

Noor | Sept ‘21

Could not have picked a better glampsite! Do yourselves a favor and book.

Sharon | Sept ‘21

The tent was amazing and it contains anything you will need. The place is beautiful and peaceful. Casey and Fin are perfect hosts and made our stay enjoyable. Will definitely go back.

Sarah | Sept ‘21

Super charming place to stay - the tents were full glamping luxury, we had a great stay!

Paige | Sept ‘21

We had a wonderful stay. Pictures do not capture how great this place and the stay experiece actually is. Bev was very responsive. Casey - the site manager was very friendly and accomodating. He made the whole experiece lovely, especially breakfast and campfire. Our dog also had a great time playing with Fin (Casey’s pup, who is also a great host). The tent is cozy and the bathroom & hot shower was very nice. The common area was equipped with grills and cookwares. We really enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast with the view. We did the farm tour and it was one of the highlight of our trip! Highly recommended!!

Bui&Jittisa | September 2021

Glamping was great! Debbie and Casey were amazing! The farm chore tour was totally worth it and s’mores at the bonfire really capped off a great night! 10 out of 10, would recommend!!

Nikki | Oct ‘21

We loved our stay! The location is ideal as it's close to Hudson and other places to walk/eat /etc. but the place feels secluded and special. Everyone we met was so kind, friendly and thoughtful. We loved our tour of the farm with Debbie and the campfire at night with Casey. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Ana | Sept ‘21

Absolutely blew our expectations out of the water! We were greeted by Casey and his amazing puppy Finn as soon as we arrived. Casey took us to our tent and it was immaculate. So well thought-out, clean, and had everything we could need. The bed was so comfortable. We didn't expect to have electricity, let alone a mini-fridge, a chandelier, and multiple fans. The bathroom of course exceeded our expectations as well. The shower had excellent water pressure and unlimited hot water.

The central lodge area is very well stocked. We grilled for dinner, played badminton, volleyball, and corn hole. We bought fresh eggs, vegetables, and meats from the farm store (make sure to call ahead to get the meat defrosted and they will have it ready for you when you need it!) Every night, Casey set up a fire pit and we made s'mores, chatted, and had a great time! Look out for the milky way and big dipper because it's right above you! Casey also recommended some greats spots in Hudson for hiking and food. The farm tour was also a lot of fun and educational- we got to see baby piglets and chicks and learned about the process of getting fresh eggs from the chickens! Boy do we appreciate hard working farmers!

This was an amazing experience and we hope to come back and do it again soon. It's a great place to disconnect from the city and busy life-style. We wish we could have stayed longer! It completely surpassed our expectations, and we strongly recommend anyone who is thinking about booking this trip to do so! This place is also very pet-friendly, so bring your pup if you have one, they'll enjoy it too!

Perfection. Start to finish.

Mark and Bev (owners) and Casey and Sheila were friendly and on top of every detail. Casey in particular was super helpful throughout our stay, from greeting us with his sweet dog at check-in and getting us settled to providing suggestions of things to do.

One thing you can’t necessarily tell from the listing, the tents are very well spaced which makes it feel more like an authentic camping experience. It’s incredibly peaceful.

You get all the best parts of camping (like grilling, cooking s’mores, and enjoying morning coffee or a sunset cocktail on the porch) but with high thread count sheets, hot water and electricity. The accommodations were exactly as listed, if not better.

Just wish we could have stayed longer. And will, without a doubt, be back!

Bran | Sept ‘21

“Absolutely amazing spot. The tents are perfect and feature everything you would expect from a high end glamping site. Casey was super helpful and made checking in a breeze. If your looking for a spot to get out into nature but still be able to shower and sleep in a comfortable bed this is your place..”

— Kyle, Sept ‘21

“Our stay was absolutely amazing, filled with friendly faces and a very friendly pup! The tent was super comfy, probably the best bed we’ve ever slept on. The shower was warm and definitely a plus to have. 10/10 recommend, can’t wait to come back!!.”

— Danielle | Sept ‘21

“Lovely stay! Tents were gorgeous and spacious. It was great to have an on site contact person (Casey, really helpful young guy) facilitating everything. The central “lodge” dining area still sort of under construction but had everything we needed in terms of grills, supplies etc for cooking. The tents are private but as a heads up you do end up socializing with other people at the “glampsite” central area with a fire, cooking, etc., but the other people there were quite nice.”

- Thomas | Sept ‘21

“Loved the Glamping tents. The trip was made by Casey who works on site. Great energy. Wonderful host. Cute pup on site too”

- Sam | Sept ‘21

My husband and I stayed at the glamping sites to celebrate our 14th anniversary. Bev helped me through the booking process and was quick to answer my questions. Our late check-in time was also happily accommodated which meant so much to us and made this trip possible.

There were so many lovely "extras" that I don't feel were properly expressed in the description and turned out to be lovely surprises to us. Our tent had a mini-fridge, umbrellas, a flashlight, and other camping supplies. A beautiful arrangement of fresh flowers also brightened the already beautiful space. A large bonfire was set up by Casey, the on-site manager, and he even had smore supplies for everyone to use, just another little extra that we weren't expecting.

We told Casey at the bonfire that we were celebrating our anniversary. He went above and beyond and surprised us in the morning with freshly made breakfast, using eggs from the farm. It was beyond thoughtful!

We didn't take part in the farming activities, but we did tour the lovely vegetable and flower gardens which were so fun to see. Tomato vines reaching well above my 6'2'' husband's head were one of the highlights.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the glamping camp site and it will definitely be one of those experiences you remember for a lifetime. Thank you Bev and Casey!!!

Madison | August ‘21

Our “Glamping” experience was absolutely amazing. We loved waking up atop a beautiful hill on the farm. The tents are so comfortable and our dog loved running around the fields.

We are already talking about when yo return for another stay!

Peter | Sept ‘21

Check-in was easy and our host Casey was really helpful with suggestions on things to do in the area. We had a great time following Debbie around doing farm chores with other guests. Our dog also enjoyed exploring the campground, and felt welcome.

Thomas | Sept ‘21

We had an amazing stay at Liberty Farms. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer!

The facilities are just as described, clean and in perfect condition. The staff was friendly, communicative and accommodating. We enjoyed chatting with Casey and Debbie while we grilled and ate dinner which consisted of organic meat from the farm.

The location is serene and quiet but also close to nearby Hudson. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset at dinner time.

Our stay couldn’t have been better and just what we needed for a mini-getaway- we will definitely be back!

Nikki | Sept ‘21

This was my second trip in a little over a month. I obviously love the place. Casey, Deb, Sheila…all just so welcoming and fantastic. Just the right mix of amenities (super comfy bed, electricity, rain shower) and camping experience (cooking s’mores around a campfire). So happy to be there for last night of the season.

Bran | Oct ‘21

The liberty farms "glamp" is wonderful. If you're more used to "camp" camping, be aware that this set up is GLAM, like, four star hotel with canvas walls glam. It's a wonderful treat. Casey has done an amazing job setting up the site, and he, Debbie and Sheila (plus dogs Bella and Finn) were great companions for the evening. They were super game to help us figure out a non-standard cooking setup (spit roasting a steak over the fire pit). Debbie's chore tour is also not to be missed, here's a little nudge for the powers at be at Liberty Farms to dedicate some resources to the livestock tours — Debbie's doing a great job with what she has, but she's got big dreams :). If you're looking for a stupidly picturesque "getaway" in the Hudson valley, just book this one, it's great.

Emma | Sept ‘21

Great weekend getaway from the city and such a fun interactive farm experience. We had everything we needed and loved exploring the property to see the farm store, help with farm chores with Deb, and make s’mores by the fire at night. Casey was so helpful and gave us great recommendations. We were close to Hudson as well so loved the proximity to shops and restaurants and still have peaceful nature around us. We cannot wait to go back.

Georgia | Sept’21

This place is an absolute gem! We came up for two nights and it was such a nice getaway from the city. The cabins are amazing and each have their own hot showers that look up to the trees, toilets and marble counter sinks. King size bed was super comfy and the overall decor of the tent was perfectly rustic chic. Our host Casey was so nice and accommodating (also has the cutest dog on earth, Finn). He helped us with every single request or question we had and made our stay on the grounds super comfortable. Some highlights were s’mores around the campfire, a farm tour where we saw/fed pigs (there were baby piglets!), cows and chickens, and got to collect fresh eggs, and enjoyed a meal from the farm store where we bought fresh veggies and meat. The grounds are a super close drive to Hudson where we got a couple delicious meals as well. Overall the experience was 10/10, and we highly recommend. We will 100% be back this fall.

Lindsey Sept ‘21

This was our first glamping trip and it did not disappoint!
From the moment we arrived, Casey was there to help us with our bags, offer local suggestions, and show us around the site. The tent felt very private for our romantic weekend, and had all the amenities we could need. Thank you for a perfect getaway, we will definitely be returning with friends and family.

Dawn | Aug ‘21

My girlfriend and I stayed in tent #3 for one night. The accommodations exceeded our expectations, it was nicer than some hotels!
Comfortable bed. Clean. Warm. Ability to buy fresh farm food. Dog friendly. Campfire. Privacy. Friendly staff!

Absolutely incredible glamping! If you want a legitimate outdoorsy experience with all the comforts of a luxury hotel, this is the place to book. It's a super short drive from Hudson, Olana, and tons of hiking, but honestly you could just spend an entire weekend lounging around the property.

Carina | Sept ‘21

Amazing The hospitality we got from Paul was next to none! Greeted by our names daily, clean and comfortable tents with HOT water in the shower, and a warming blanket provided for those chilly nights. Paul suggested a fishing spot that exceeded our expectations when we caught the biggest fish of our lives and the waterfall hike he suggested was beautiful. Campfire with s’mores provided every night made a great hangout spot and a place to get to know everyone else. Debbie did a great farm chore tour where we got to pet baby pigs, feed grass to cows, and hold baby chicks. This was a great experience and will definitely be going again!

Megan | Oct ‘21

We had the most wonderful, relaxing weekend at this little piece of heaven in Ghent. The property is gorgeous, the shower is a game changer and the whole experience is completely worth it. The tents are far enough away from each other that is feels private but the shared area with grills, games and a fire pit allows you to meet the other glampers. The farm store is a 5 minute walk where we got fresh sausage, eggs and veggies every morning. I highly recommend the farm chore tour with Deb and her doggie Bella. We got to gather our own eggs, feed the piglets and see how a working farm operates. Casey and his dog Fin were amazing hosts and always made sure we were having a great time. We can’t wait to come back!

Jackie | Sept 21

What a wonderful experience. From the second we arrived, we were greeted with smiles. The farm tour was absolutely amazing, and Debbie is unforgettable. I look forward to returning to this Airbnb.

Victoria | Sept ‘21

Words can’t do justice to describe how incredible of a time we had glamping at Liberty Farms. When I booked our stay, I honestly had no idea what to expect. We were much in need of some time to recover from the hustle and bustle of the city, and glamping sounded like the perfect cure. After a 2.5 hour drive, we arrived at the farm where Casey and his puppy companion, Finnegan, greeted us with the kindest/warmest welcome anyone can receive. Casey and Finnegan took us up to our tent site, which was, simply, immaculate. The tent was super clean and equipped with everything that you’ll need for your glamping experience: a comfortable bed; a hot shower; shampoo; soft towels; a fridge; lights; a toilet; and a ton of soft toilet paper.

After relaxing in our tent for a few, we decided to join the farm tour to help out with afternoon chores. Best. Decision. Ever. We had so much fun and learned a ton about farming from Debbie, whose enthusiasm and positivity was infectious. We couldn’t ask for a better experience feeding the pigs, petting baby chicks, and collecting eggs.

Post-afternoon chores, we put some fresh steak and pork chop (from Liberty Farms) on the grill and had an amazing dinner. Dessert came in the form of s’mores by the fire pit (thank you, Casey)!

The folks at Liberty Farms are some of the kindest people you’ll have the privilege of meeting. Thank you so much for an experience that we’ll never forget.
